IntAct Open Calls 2024

The IntAct Festival invites artists from all disciplines worldwide to submit their works for exhibition during the 6th series of the new music and art festival, IntAct 2024. The event will take place from December 20th – 22nd, 2024, at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre in Bangkok, Thailand.
Under the theme "Machine, Labor, Rock," the festival explores the dynamic relationships among "Human and Machine" and the infusion of popular cultures and contemporary music. It examines the evolving landscape of machinery, artificial intelligence, and technology. We invite artists to submit works that resonate with or respond to this thematic context, focusing on the following key themes:
1) The influence of “technologies” on the creative processes of artists and the perceptions of their audiences.
2) The impact and progression of “machine” and/or artificial intelligence on the dynamics and authority associated with human labor.
3) The role of mass production in popular culture and the influence of media algorithms on the transformation of artisan craftwork.
